Step1:
First you are deciding whether going to connect your iPod to a PC or a Mac while on the way to achieve a specific outcome. You should not moving be able to read the contents on a Mac if its necessary and the host will be a PC, formatting your iPod as a windows drive. To get a Mac-formatted iPod to work on a PC it will need to be reformatting. Click on iPod icon and then use the ‘Restore’ button. This is used won’t erase any data in the iPod.

The iPod is not configured for ‘disk mode’ out of the box. Most iPod classics can be used, as well as the iPod nano has small amount of space for your data. Now it is time to configure portable application you want to install your hard drive. Go to www.portableapps.com and select the program.
Step5:
Once it is time to configure the application on your portable hard drive, then to install and configure your favorite add-ons and extensions.
Step6:
Starting your portable applications, connect your portable drive to your host computer. if you ned to install a portable application start menu. Open the application and you want the portable applications added your portable start menu. This is simple as selecting the place of the portable applications. You will need to install your portable applications before you can use portable start menu.
